Do you want to (re)discover your sensuality and experience how deeply nourishing it is to feel safe and connected to your body and pleasure?
Join us to feel, move, dance, play, connect, and co-regulate.
In this experiential workshop, we create a safe environment to welcome you back into your body and into your skin. We’ll release what we no longer need and activate our sensual intelligence through somatics and intuitive movement practices that we’ll do alone as well as in group while following a natural ceremonial flow.
“Be soft like water and gentle like the air, and let yourself be carried by a loving group that is here to hold and support you.”
Sensuality is the awakeness of the sense perceptions through which we perceive and interact with the world. It’s about allowing yourself to feel the pleasure that your senses are giving you, whether it’s savouring a deep breath or feeling touch on your skin.
But sensuality is not only pleasurable. It helps the nervous system regulate itself and is a gateway into meditative presence. Through embodiment, we call the soul home into the body.
During the first part of the journey, we focus on individual work to root you into your body, awaken your sensual perception, and find your authentic self-expression through movement and dance.
During the second part of the journey, we come together as a group to explore connecting with others in an embodied and authentic way through exercises and free movement. We’ll explore expressing our needs as well as our ‘yes’ and ‘no’, and enjoy connecting with others in movement, presence, and playfulness.
The practices we’ll work with in this workshop are inspired by somatics, mindfulness, intuitive dance, somatic experiencing, contact improvisation, and neo-tantra.
Sensuality can be many things … it’s relaxing, softening, nourishing and sometimes also exciting.
That’s why we create a safe space where you can feel free to discover and express yourself. The exercises build slowly on each other and you are always completely free to decide whether you want to join in partner work or enjoy your own movement instead. Please note that there will be no sexual touch or nudity during this workshop. Together we create an environment that feels sensual, heart-centered and safe.
This workshop is for you if you are interested in connecting with your body, (re)discover your sensuality, dance, play, and enjoy safe connection and touch. The workshop is open to all genders and sexualities and is LGBTQI inclusive. No experience in somatic work, movement or dance is needed.
While sensuality can invoke sexual feelings, this workshop is not for you if you are looking for a sexual experience.
