We had an event a couple days ago and there were some folks slightly worried about our immediate area. I went to law school in this area (Temple) and understand your concerns! We have not had any incidents at all - no thefts, vandalisms, car break-ins, anything - but we hear you! Some people just feel very uncomfortable in these types of Philly neighborhoods when they're from other parts. There are all new developments around us including luxury apartments directly across the street and we will do a few more things to make you feel better and more secure. 1) The homeless man who was sleeping in the Fulton Bank ATM directly downstairs: sorry about that! But we couldn't just kick him out - we DID find him a new shelter and he has re-located there! Also, they lock the ATM at night now. 2) We have a new walking service: just call us when you are parking at our new hot-line 866 WALK-W-ME to be walked to and from your car. (Backup number: 267 516 6955.) A Sensual Safety Patrol Member will roll out to you with a walkie talkie to walk you to our studio and we can walk you back to your car when you leave later on. 3) We have added additional surveillance to the front of our building and are working with adjacent businesses to bolster the security presence so that any potential bad actors will really think twice before trying anything. Let's keep our studio and venue 100% incident free! We have never tossed anyone for acting badly and have never had any safety issues at all: we'd like to keep it that way! See you this Saturday!
