"September" 2026 NextGen Dance! (August 29)

✨ Join us for NextGen's monthly dance! ✨ • When: Saturday, August 29, 2026 • Where: Allegro Ballroom (12012 San Pablo Avenue, CA 94805) • Time: 7-8pm lessons, 8pm-midnight dance NOTE: WE ARE HOLDING OUR SEPTEMBER DANCE ONE WEEK EARLIER THIS YEAR, in coordination with South Bay Dance Fling (Sep 4-6). 💃Lesson Info💃 7-8pm: Lesson with Austin Kois *Familiarity with west coast swing fundamentals is expected. 7-8pm: BEGINNER lesson with [TBA] *This class is meant for people who have no experience with west coast swing (or wish to review the fundamentals). About 20 minutes of the class will be reserved for social dancing practice time! 🎶 DJ 🎶 Kathleen Sun 💵 Pricing 💵 General admission: $25 lesson & dance $15 dance Beginner Class Attendees: $20 lesson & dance Next Gen members: $15 lesson and dance $10 dance Juniors (18 and under): $17 lesson & dance $7 dance 🏆 Contest Info 🏆 Our Mix & Match (aka J&J style) contest is open to anyone of any dance level and any lead/follow gender role. All-Stars and above will be repaired if they draw one another. Randomly paired dancers will be judged as a couple for 3-4 songs. At the end of the entire contest series, finalists will be invited back to compete for complimentary passes to our annual convention, Boogie by the Bay. *Contest sign-ups usually close around 9:15pm (Note: Our November 2025 dance kicked off a new progressive series.
