SEXTETO MILONGUERO The Sexteto Milonguero formed in 2006 by Javier Di Ciriaco, with the simple desire to play the Tango dance repertoire, usually heard in the milongas, emphasizing the 40′s, and beyond the excellent versions heard for years, Sexteto Milonguero tries to give a personal sound to these great old songs. The only intention? … follow the path of those great bands, and do not let the tango, withdraw from the neighborhood, the dancers, the popular, the milongas. ​ The style of the group, has a beginning, in essence, danceable. And over the years, also because of the diversity of places where they have been presented in recent years, such as theaters or festivals worldwide, have added to their extensive repertoire, a variety of songs that can be called only for concerts. Own songs, songs of Argentine folklore, etc.. This has allowed to show and merge the different influences that each one of the members of the sextet, which include: Argentina's popular music, jazz, classical, rock, etc. .... Klaric began dancing Argentine Tango in 2003, but her passion for Tango began as a child, having heard the music all her life. Since she started dancing, she has dedicated herself to taking classes and travelling. She has been to, taught, and performed in festivals and workshops all over the states, Europe, and Argentina. She brings nostalgia and emotion to her dance, focusing on the connection to her partner, the music, and all that Tango and its history mean to her. After living in Buenos Aires and studying intensively with her favorite teachers, Melanie loves to share her credible knowledge with others, based on many years of learning and training with several of the best instructors of Argentine Tango. She is an enthusiastic teacher, and loves Tango, its music, and all the history and culture it represents. Her classes are cheerful and demanding – she encourages her students to dance with passion, sensitivity, and technique. She creates an environment for dancers to be artistic and find their own way of expressing their dance. Melanie’s affection, passion, and respect for Tango shine through in her teaching style. Melanie is also the hostess of one of the most successful weekly Tango socials in Chicago. MARIANO BEJARANO Born in Rosario, Argentina, Mariano’s love of music and movement as self-expression began with studies in music theory and contemporary and latin dance. As a teenager, Mariano was introduced to tango through the milongas of Rosario, which gave him a deep sense of the traditions of tango as expression of culture. Today, Mariano’s teaching style focuses on honoring and preserving these traditions of the dance, as well as developing techniques for truly organic movement. As a musician himself, Mariano integrates musicality into even the most basic class, with emphasis on connection and improvisation. He believes it is necessary to educate and train the body in order to be able to express the music, teaching dance as a universal language available for everyone to communicate, create, and have fun. Mariano has over a decade of professional experience teaching tango, performing, and organizing tango events. He has studied in Argentina and the United States with Roberto Maiolo, Diego Baldanza, Pablo Villarraza, Jorge Torres, and Gustavo Naveira, among others. Mariano currently organizes, teaches at, and DJ’s two weekly milongas in Miami, Florida - TangOcho , MIAMI TANGO CLUB and Milonga Guacha - in their seventh and fourth years, respectively, as well as special tango events throughout the year. She was also part of several different dance companies: Argentina -Ballet Agustin Carabajal,Uballet Argentino,Ballet Folklorico Nacional,Tango Ladies,Teatro Colon Orfeo and Euridice Opera,Teatro Avenida,The Rake Progress Opera,The Consul,Evitango The Musical,Teatro Cervantes Maria de Buenos Aires Tango Operita -Daniel Noce is a professor and professional dancer from Argentina. With a degree from the National University Institute of Art in Buenos Aires and over thirty years of experience performing and teaching traditional Argentine dances, Daniel teaches both technique and gives the historical background knowledge about these unique dances.
