Our workshop features two back-to-back classes designed to enhance your technique, musicality, and partnering skills. 7-8 PM Intensive Primer We'll kick off with an intensive primer on Salsa On2. Whether you're new to the style or a seasoned dancer, this hour will provide you with an in-depth exploration of On2 technique and musicality. We'll cover the core differences between On1 and On2, how to adapt your On1 skills to On2, and technique applicable to both styles. You'll also learn fun and simple combinations that will allow you to focus on executing good technique. This class is an excellent warm-up for the second hour. 8-9 PM Salsa On2 Intensive In the second class, we'll dive deeper into Salsa On2 with an intensive class that focuses on an exciting, challenging partnering combination. This class is perfect for intermediate and advanced dancers who want to push their skills to the next level. We'll include spins, hand tricks, and a heavy emphasis on accenting Mambo musicality. And, for those who prefer to dance On1 socially, we'll include a brief tutorial and demo on how to adapt the same pattern. No partner needed!
