Each week focuses on a different dance—Zouk, West Coast Swing, Tango, and Blues—while introducing specific techniques for transitioning smoothly between them. You’ll build solid fundamentals in each style and develop the skills to combine them creatively, crafting your own unique fusion dance. Since then, she’s also immersed herself in studying West Coast Swing and Tango. She experiences dancing as a form of play, and the dance floor as a playground. As a new dancer and DJ, she brings the New Relationship Energy of her own journey with fusion into her sets—hoping to share that spark of discovery and joy with dancers both new and seasoned. 𝗧𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗿𝘀: ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ 𝗧𝗮𝘆𝗹𝗼𝗿 𝗞𝗶𝗻𝗻𝗲𝘆—𝗪𝗲𝗲𝗸 𝟭 *𝗦𝗽𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹* Taylor brings over 20 years of partner dance experience to the floor, with deep expertise in Brazilian Zouk and a passion for playful, deeply connected fusion partner dancing. She is a senior instructor with Omni Dance School, where she co-leads the Zouk Education program, and previously co-founded and grew the Sotaki Brazilian Zouk school and community in Houston. Across the years, Taylor has also (co)directed multiple dance teams and competed/ performed internationally as a professional ballroom dancer, giving her a wide lens on how different movement “languages” intersect. Known for bridging technical depth with creative play, Taylor’s classes invite dancers to deepen their connection to their own bodies, their partners and the music.
