Shagaus. All Day Collegiate Shag Workshop

2026: The year of SHAG. Let’s start the new year off right with a full day of collegiate shag classes taught by DC’s best collegiate shag instructors, Erin Stephenson and Skyler Hinkel. Classes begin at 1:00pm, each class being 1.5 hours. Shag for Lindy Hoppers So, you’re new to shag. But not so new to dance. We’ve got you covered. Erin and Skyler will cover the basics of collegiate shag in a dance language you’ll understand. Shag for Ex-Lindy Hoppers Check it out, you now know shag! Now time to get to know what makes shag, shag. Learn the iconic shapes and moves that will make you forget you were ever a Lindy Hopper to begin with. Stick around afterwards for our beginner 6-count class at 7:30pm and social dance at 8:30pm with live music! More details on the band to come.
