Sheffield Kizomba Night with Iris De Brito and Sean Wilson

🌟We’re extremely happy to announce that we have Iris De Brito as our guest teacher and animator for our next edition of SKN on the 8th June!🌟 Trained at The London Studio Center and with the late William Louther, Iris is a diverse dancer / singer / choreographer. A 2x Salsa Champion, she holds a Lifetime Achievement Award for her contribution to Salsa as well as Kizomba in the UK. A coach in “Strictly Dance Fever" (BBC) she also choreographed and directed sold out show “El Barrio” a theatre production with Song, Salsa & Live percussion. A pioneer of Kizomba in the UK she created Studio Afro Latino dance academy to promote Kizomba & Afro-Luso Rhythms and was awarded a LUKAS award for best Kizomba Teacher voted by the public. As BATUKE Festival founder and creative director, Iris is on a mission to promote Afro-Luso music & dance. The founder of Kizomba Manchester, Sean Wilson is not only a successful events organiser but also a talented Dj specialising in Kizomba and Afrobeats and active in the UK and beyond. Having travelled from his North West England base to play as far as the USA (Seattle and Portland), he also regularly plays in Lisbon, Europe's Kizomba and Palop capital where he has played at many of the cities top clubs including: The Docks Club, Mwangole, Ondeando and Kaxaça, sharing the decks alongside top DJ's including: Dj Malvado, Djeff Afrozila, Dj Barata, Boddhi Satva and Dj Kadu.
