Circularity is at the heart of Argentine tango: from subtle pivots and elegant turns to flowing giros that allow the couple to move as a single rotating system. Rather than thinking only in straight lines, we will discover how circular pathways create fluidity, musicality, and connection in the dance. Through simple but powerful exercises, we will work on axis, dissociation, pivots, and the dynamic relationship between leader and follower that allows turns to feel effortless. Participants will learn how to generate, guide, and sustain circular motion while maintaining balance, clarity, and elegance. The workshop will focus not only on technique, but also on awareness of the shared axis and the continuous dialogue within the embrace. Open to dancers who wish to deepen their understanding of turns, spirals, and the rotational energy that gives tango its distinctive flow.
