The Silent Contact Retreat is back in 2022! The SCR 3rd edition will happen in the south of Portugal, from the 25th to the 31st of July, at Karuna Retreat Center. We curate a container intended to focus ourselves on movement, dance, contemplation and expression. The process unfolds by itself, with minimum intervention. Imperceptible facilitators, present only to hold the space, support if needed and remind the intention we came together with. No teachers, no classes and no guidance. CONCEPT A 7-day gathering for deep immersion. These days, we consciously and deliberately remove any distractions which may interfere with the attention, focus, and genuine deep connection. The structure that is offered provides the conditions to keep oneself comfortable, focused, and integrated with the flow. These conditions are set on various levels… Silence. We put the attention into movement research, meditation, and self-contemplation. Practices. Contact Improvisation, Authentic Movement structures, Meditation, Artistic Expression, and Connection/Exploration of the surrounding nature. Participants. Because of the nature of the retreat, an experience request is needed. This is done in the sincere spirit of taking care of the persons and the retreat, for the benefit of all the group.
