SCR is like an empty canvas. We curate a container intended to focus ourselves on movement, dance, contemplation and expression. The process unfolds by itself, with careful and attentive interventions. Present and grounded facilitators, holding the space, offering support if needed, and reminding the intention we came together with. CONCEPT A 8-day gathering for deep immersion. These days we consciously and deliberately remove any distractions that interfere with attention, focus, and genuine connection. The structure offered provides conditions to be safe, focused, and whole with the practice. SILENCE We invite to be in the body and mind that exist beyond the conceptual, verbal impositions. Our attention is directed into movement research, meditation, and self-contemplation, removing reading, writing, speaking, mimicking and anything that engages our verbal mind. PRACTICES Contact Improvisation, Authentic Movement structures, Meditation, Artistic Expression, and inhabiting the surrounding forests nature. PARTICIPANTS Because of the nature of the retreat, experience is asked. This is done in the sincere spirit of taking care of the persons and the retreat, for the benefit of all the group.
