Silent Jam Festival

We are happy to invite you to dance with us at the first Silent Contact Improvisation Festival which will take place in the first week of October, among the black sands of Colchis on the beach in Western Georgia! 🇬🇪 OCTOBER 1-7, UREKI, GEORGIA http://www.somatiq.org/silentjam FESTIVAl PROGRAM Contact Improvisation, Axis Inspired, authentic movement, ideokinesis, tea practice and bodywork. All intensives and classes will be held in silence. We will talk during opening and closing circles, and have one singing circle in a middle of festival. We have 3 meals a day - vegetarian version of traditional Georgian food. Actually, local food is like Mediterranean, but with some mountain flavor. А lot of greens, walnuts, delicious bakery, eggplants, beans and honey in unusual combinations. Super good! HOW TO GET THERE? For people from Russia it’s easy to take a train, or to come by car (there is parking in territory) Also there are lots of comfortable buses from Turkey, which can also be an option. We will help you with transportation to the place in Georgia. WHAT ELSE? After a week in silence, we are planning afterparty in the capital of Georgia - Tbilisi. There will be excursions, museums, parties, wine and, of course, jams - with jazz and folk Georgian music.
