SHE'S BACK! After the hugely successful workshops earlier this year, we are thrilled to be inviting Silvi Milans back to Brisbane for another workshop series. Director of Dança Brasi, Silvi shares her love and knowledge of Samba throughout Australasia. She has co-hosted workshops with our very own Bruno Ferreira promoting the social side of samba, plus choreographs and trains one of the biggest samba teams in Australia. Get Silvi's latest drills and techniques for getting that all important flow when using upper and lower body isolations together. 11:10am STEP INTO YOUR SAMBA PERSONA On stage and off. How to create your Samba character and let your moves and musicality reflect who you are. These tips apply to social situations or full stage performance. 12:20 - 1:20pm TECHNIQUE = TIMING The role technique plays in being able to play with timing. Control and precision are core elements of footwork technique and play a huge role in allowing you to feel confident playing with timing.
