You will quickly gain confidence with your dancing, whether in the club or on stage performing — we will help take your dancing to the next level! No dance experience needed. All levels and ages are welcome! For those with dance experience, we have an intermediate team to further push and refine your skills. We emphasize the importance of fundamental technique and social dance ability to create more well-rounded dancers in the Bay Area. We are a very tight group. We dance, have BBQs, socialize, volunteer and help our communities. This is not just another dance company, at JAS Latin Dance Academy we are family! Performing is optional but highly encouraged. You’ll get the opportunity to perform at local clubs and events; you’ll travel with the team to festivals around the USA and even internationally. You’ll get to share the stage with amazing dancers from all over the world. Note: Performers will be chosen at the Director's discretion. Auditions are FREE. We will teach a basic Bachata class of footwork and partner work so we can evaluate and place you in the most appropriate level. This is a fun and safe environment. No pressure!
