Slava and Olga. New courses in March in Ljubljana

Dear friends! In March and (partly) April we're going to give 2 new courses in Ljubljana. Then there'll be no classes between 15 of april and 11 of may (while we'll be on tour). The corses will take place: on Wednesdays at 20:30 (at Plesna učilnica, in Tabor) 15, 22, 29 of march. and 5, 12 of april. Vals. (a course of 5 classes) on Fridays at 20:00 (at Klubska soba, in Tabor) 17, 31 of march and 7 and 14 of april. Boleo. (a course of of 4 classes) ------------------------------------------------- VALS ("A volar, senores!" or "5 steps to Vals" :)) The vals propose such everlasting feeling of a flight. A couple dancing vals is like a small boat supported by the waves of a sleeping ocean... 🙂 Valses could be faster or slower but they are always very sweet and romantic :))) On this course we're going to work with dynamics, which should help us to create this special mood in our dance. Questions for the course: - The mood of Vals. - Difference between Vals and Tango. - Rhythmical patterns in Vals. - Dynamics in Vals. - Turns in Vals. Ideas, solutions, combinations. -------------------------------------------------- BOLEOS We'll go "slow but deep" into the technique of back and forward boleos and later will work with ideas and combinations. Questions for the course: - how to lead boleos? - what's the secret of the beauty of this movement? - low and high boleos - how to do them safe? - boleos and Musicality. (_why_ to do boleos? :)) (and many more.. :)) ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- You can join any Workshop or take the whole course(s). I would describe the level as "intermediate-advanced" but we do promise that classes will be interesting to dancers of any level and everybody will get some new useful information! :)) We believe that working on some topic on a regular basis should improve your skills better! Feel free to join even if you don't have a partner. (And yes - we're going to change couples every 2-3 songs.)
