SMOOTH & STYLISH - 8 WEEKS BRAZILIAN ZOUK FOLLOWERS ONLINE COURSE LIVE ONLINE CLASSES AND LIFETIME RECORDINGS Start 13 February 2024 New Year has just started and we would like to invite you to this incredible new course for followers with 3 wonderful teachers - Jessica, Melyssa & Joanna. In this course we will study the idea of being smooth in dance and some cool styling. Do you know those dancers who move in a way that the air is vibrating , so smooth like a cat, all the muscles seem working hard but it looks so effortless? This is what we want to explore in this module! Think about flowy moves, beautiful head movements, breathing, grounding and smooth transitioning between different figures. We will show you plenty of drills so you can improve and enjoy your dance more. On top of that, as always we are bringing styling to have some fun and beautiful moves. You can join live sessions to get individual feedback or simply purchase recordings with a lifetime access. We can’t wait to start dancing with you :) Find out more about our teachers: About Melyssa Melyssa Tamada is known worldwide together with Marck Silva for their amazing creativity and versatility. Coming from Sao Paulo, Brazil, they dance and teach Brazilian zouk and lambada, and are part of the young Sao Paulo generation of up-and-coming zouk teachers that are taking the world by storm. Their zouk videos are watched every day by hundreds of people and they massively influence the zouk style. Melyssa dancing: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K1sNQmlVZ1M About Jessica Jessica Lamdon, also known as "Unicorn", (the nickname she was crowned by her mentor and partner Ry'el) instructor, performer, actor, loves to MC, professional hugger, has been dancing since she was 8 years old. She began with competitive international 10-dance ballroom dancing and was fortunate enough to compete and place in international competitions such as Black Pool and represent the US in the Worlds Competition in 2007. Jessica flirted with other Latin dances and styles. She then totally emerged into acting for stage and film throughout high school and college, while earning her BA in Psychology. Along the way, the Unicorn got bit by the Brazilian Zouk bug in 2012 and never recovered. She has had the honor of training with her mentor, partner, and founder of ZenZouk Ry'el Velandia and getting certified by Kim Rottier. She has had the pleasure of traveling to teach and perform in congresses throughout the states and Europe. Jessica also had the privilege of partaking in a workshop and performance of hit show Braz Dos Santos's Brazouka. Jessica is so proud to be representing ZenZouk and grateful to have Brazilian Zouk Lambada be in her life and the lives of others. She is so humbled and excited to share her discoveries in movement. She has a very clear understanding of human motor skills and constantly educates herself in new techniques. She has taught dance in over 30 countries, and has been teaching, performing, and dancing her heart out at international zouk festivals for over 12 years. She pioneered zouk in Poland in 2011 in Warsaw, and she is a qualified judge of the Brazilian Zouk Dance Council. She has taught zouk together with Pasty, Kamacho, and William dos Santos, and in recent years found success and immense pride in teaching popular solo follower classes at international festivals, attracting zoukers wanting to learn her unique and expressive style of dancing in order to enhance their partner dancing.
