SNOW SHUFFLE Umeå Balboa Weekend January 16-18, 2026 International Teachers: Sanna Leinonen and Adam LaMontagne Two levels of classes. Social dances to live band & DJs. Snow guaranteed. Fair shot at northern lights. Welcome to the beautiful winter city of Umeå for a Balboa Festival in mid January 2026. The weekend will be packed with dance classes, fantastic music, unique personal meetings, and great social dancing! The event takes place in the heart of Umeå close to hotels, restaurants and transportation. The weekend will kick off on Friday evening with an inspiration class for all levels, followed by a welcome party with DJ-music. All classes and the welcome party will be at Umeå Folkets hus. The Saturday night party to live music will take place at Ordenshuset a few blocks away. The schedule includes 7.5 h of classes with the wonderful teachers Sanna Leinonen & Adam LaMontagne from Finland, plus the local instructors Mia and Henrik from Umeå. More classes and instructors tbd. Classes start at 18:30 on Friday and end at 15:00 on Sunday.
