Join us for a free, beginner-friendly Blues dance lesson by Lila Faria at 1pm, followed by a sliding scale ticketed Blues social dance with local DJ Whitney Leisenring! Learn the fundamentals in a welcoming space and discover the joy of Blues dance. Come out and celebrate the launch of our new nonprofit by dancing with us! Support community Blues dancing in Seattle while taking home something wonderful 💙 This event's silent auction features generously donated items from local artists, businesses, community members, and supporters. Items will include: - Pottery class at Rain Studios - Tea and tea supplies, which you can sample at the front desk - Private dance lessons by local instructors, and more How it works: - Write your name + bid amount on the bid sheet at the front desk - You may bid on as many items as you'd like - Highest bid at the close of the auction wins - Winners will be announced during the DJ break Please do not remove items from the table until payment has been completed. In addition to the auction, there will also be a Raffle-Style Community Giveaway, in which we will be raffling off locally made pottery and "Sponsor a Song" vouchers for future Blues Underground dances.
