Social Hangout #27: Afrodojo seben party

Rendez-vous ce jeudi 26 février à 18h pour une soirée de musique live, axée sur le seben, avec des artistes locaux, organisée en collaboration avec Afrodojo. Une belle occasion de découvrir ce genre musical énergique, à mi-chemin entre la rumba congolaise et la musique soukous. Plus d'informations à venir ! Ouvert à toustes ; contribution volontaire appréciée. L'activité commencera à 18h mais vous pouvez venir pratiquer ou manger dans nos locaux avant ! À propos des Social Hangout : tous les jeudis, Hélène vous propose de partager un moment chaleureux pour échanger sur les aspects culturels des danses afro-descendantes en compagnie de personnes invitées et membres de la communauté. Chaque semaine, nous ouvrirons cet espace pour partager nos connaissances sur la culture du jazz, renforcer la compréhension de nos danses, socialiser entre pairs et développer un meilleur sentiment d'appartenance à la Communauté Cat's Corner. Visionnage de clips et de films, conversations ouvertes, potluck et friperie, pratiques ouvertes et jams de danse : l'hiver sera doux chez Cat's Corner. *** Join us this Thursday, February 26th, at 6PM for a live music night focused on seven, with local artists, organized in collaboration with Afrodojo. About Social Hangouts: every Thursday, Hélène invites you to share a warm moment of exchange on the cultural aspects of Afro-descendant dances with guests and members of the community. Each week, we'll open this space to share our knowledge of jazz culture, strengthen understanding of our dances, socialize with peers and develop a greater sense of belonging to the Cat's Corner Community. Video and film screenings, open conversations, potluck and clothes swap, open practices and dance jams: it's going to be a sweet winter at Cat's Corner.
