L'équipe balboa de Communauté Cat's Corner vous invite pour une soirée de danse, réseautage et information afin de lancer les festivités de MTL BAL JAM, un festival dédié à la danse balboa qui aura lieu du 19 au 21 juin chez Cat's Corner. Venez passer la soirée avec nous dans l'ambiance chaleureuse de notre studio à l'étage ! À propos des Social Hangout : quelques jeudis de l'été, nous vous proposons de partager un moment chaleureux pour échanger sur les aspects culturels des danses afro-descendantes en compagnie de personnes invitées et membres de la communauté. Nous ouvrons cet espace pour partager nos connaissances sur la culture du jazz, renforcer la compréhension de nos danses, socialiser entre pairs et développer un meilleur sentiment d'appartenance à la Communauté Cat's Corner. Visionnage de clips et de films, conversations ouvertes, potluck et friperie, pratiques ouvertes et jams de danse : l'été sera doux chez Cat's Corner. *** The Cat's Corner Balboa team invites you to an evening of dancing, networking, and information to kick off the festivities for MTL BAL JAM, a festival dedicated to Balboa dancing that will take place June 19-21 at Cat's Corner. Come spend the evening with us in the cozy atmosphere of our upstairs studio! About Social Hangouts: one Thursday every now and then, we invites you to share a warm moment of exchange on the cultural aspects of Afro-descendant dances with guests and members of the community. We open this space to share our knowledge of jazz culture, strengthen understanding of our dances, socialize with peers and develop a greater sense of belonging to the Cat's Corner Community. Video and film screenings, open conversations, potluck and clothes swap, open practices and dance jams: it's going to be a sweet summer at Cat's Corner.
