Solar Eclipse Contact Jam with Live Music Jeff Ali

To celebrate 25+ years of Contact Improv at Dance Home in Santa Monica, we added a series of extended hour, live music added jams. For these jams we extend our regular Sunday Contact Improv Jam by one hour (till 10:00 pm) and add live music for the last couple hours (approximately 8:00 - 10:00). This Sunday, we are proud to welcome Jeff Ali to the LA /Santa Monica Contact Improv jam to weave a musical fabric into the motion of our dance... Jeff Ali will be filling our space with live improvised music while we dance! Jeff is an eclectic composer and musician with influences in jazz, classical, avant garde and world music. He uses a variety of instruments and live looping to weave ambient atmospheres that transform in response to bodies in space. For this special jam, the hours will be from 6:30 - 10:00pm, At Dance Home in Santa Monica. Dance Home is located on the south side of the street at 522 Santa Monica Blvd. between 5th and 6th Streets in Santa Monica, upstairs from Radio Shack. Come Join the fun!
