About this Event

*We love you so much... thank you for supporting this offering. Due to our abundant support we have reached full capacity. Please do not come to this event unless you have purchased a ticket, have a volunteer role or a clear agreement with a facilitator. Thank you :)* ❍ It's time to EMERGE. The Community needs what's hidden to be shown in the collective heart. The Dance yearns for what is static to become freed into motion. The Soul screams for the inauthentic to be transformed into Truth. We all need us to be unabashedly and wholly ourselves ~ through and through. Emergence is YOU. The seeds of our past intentions are shaking free of their shells. The latent dreams of our Earth are unfurling towards the light. Something wholly new, yet somehow more originally YOU, is emerging from the Winter darkness. We are the Earth awakening. What is emerging through you? Will you share your authenticity, your creativity, your boldness? Do you dare to reveal your truest YOU? ❍ ◅ Each 1st Saturday for over 5 years we have explored this communal space of authenticity, connection, vulnerability, ceremony and play. We invite you to join us for another magical exploration of connection and expansion - Workshops, Live Music, Ecstatic Dance, Wood-fired Sauna/Hot-tub and more.. ◅ This is a conscious and intentional event that holds space for deep healing, joy, and communion. To hold this sacred container, we request your full presence by arriving before 7PM for our opening circle. Leave alcohol and other mind-altering substances at home, and bring your natural light. ◅ We strive to create a safer and more inclusive space for all people, including marginalized and oppressed groups. We work towards increasing literacy around consent, boundaries, privilege, and diversity. Our safety and inclusivity team holds space for emotional or physical support for participants during the event. ◅ We offer discounted tickets to BIPOC, Transgender, Elders, and Disabled people. Our facilities offer Gender-Neutral restrooms for this event. Disabled parking is also available close to the venue. ◅ We acknowledge that the Winefelly band of the Kalapuya nation once resided on the land we now dance upon. We acknowledge these people were violently removed by white colonizers. We pay our respects to these first peoples, past and present, and practice compassion for the perpetrators who stole their own humanity. We humbly apologize, on behalf of our white ancestors, for the harm that was and is still being done. We intend to work towards repairing and healing this inter-generational wound. Acknowledge, honor, apologize, and repair. ◅ Don't like to dance/can't physically dance? Don't worry! You do not have to be a dancer to enjoy this event! We have a beautiful outdoor tent with fire, snacks, and altars as well as indoor seating on the dance floor, late night song circles, sauna/hot tub, etc! ❍ March Theme: Emerge ❍ Community Connection Amenities include: ◅ An afternoon site tour of Lost Valley ◅ Complimentary BNF Kombucha libations (bnfkombucha.com) ◅ Workshops (Partner Yoga + Contact Improv) ◅ Live music w/ Chitroop Taylor ◅ Live music w/ Galen Heffernan & Jahnavi Veronica ◅ Ecstatic Dance w/ DRUMSPYDER https://drumspyder.bandcamp.com ◅ All night wood-fired Hot Tub + Sauna ◅ Song circles by the fire outside the lodge ◅ Community ceremony post ecstatic dance ◅ Potluck Dinner post ceremony ◅ Optional overnight stay in our main dance hall by the fire or a private indoor room at additional cost ◅ Breakfast served the next morning ◅ Closing workshop on Native Edible Plants to the PNW w/ Justin Michelson **See a more detailed schedule below** ◅ All of this takes place at an 87 acre nature sanctuary, intentional community (40 residents) & aspiring ecovillage known as Lost Valley Education & Event Center/Meadowsong Ecovillage, located approximately 25 minutes east of Eugene, Oregon. We absolutely LOVE you and have are BLESSED by your presence! ♥ About DRUMSPYDER: Scott Sterling brings a deep love of rhythm, drums, and dance to his distinctive style of organic, tribal folktronica. An expert percussionist specializing in tamborines and framedrums, he weaves together intricate hand percussion and electronic sounds into finely sculpted grooves, equally inspirational to the dancefloor and the on-stage performer. Drawing inspiration primarily from the music of the British Islands and Europe, his music is a unique alchemy of musical traditions, energetic tribal rhythms, and sensual pagan atmosphere. Originating in San Francisco's crucible of bellydance, bass culture, and world music fusion, Drumspyder has come into his own as an original producer, building a substantial catalog of work on the Caravan, Dakini, and Desert Trax labels, then striking out on his own with 5 original EPs released independently since 2015. He is a prolific remixer, lending his signature live percussion and melodic touch to the Desert Dwellers, Deya Dova, Porangui, and various traditional ensembles. His music has been featured in numerous dance DVDs and theatrical productions.
