In the course of his life, he became not only a world famous musician, but also a spokesman for the Rastafari movement worldwide. Crowned Bob Marley, he took over the world. His music can still be heard from the biggest festival stages to the smallest communities hidden in the Himalayas. NAH MEAN #14 is dedicated to the Soul Rebel, Bob Marley. ARTISTS ººººººººººº • Pow Pow Movement • Pow Pow is one of the most notable German Dancehall sounds of the past decades. It was in the early '90s they first travelled to Jamaica with crewmember Gentleman. Soon they got picked up by UK influencer David 'Ram Jam' Rodigan and what followed later is most remarkable. Pow Pow was the first intercontinental sound ever to take part in the legendary Worldclash (then held in NY), their first production (Celebrate riddim) was an instant Dancehall hit featuring artists such as Gentleman, Beenie Man, Turbulence, GENERAL DEGREE and many others, and in 2004 the Richie Spice version of their "Blaze" riddim called "Blood Again" strikes Jamaica and takes the nª1 hit chart position for weeks. Pow Pow is one of the everlasting crews that turns anything they touch into gold. Just watch how Nah Mean goes from overwhelming to indescribable! • Blazin Fire Sound Belgium • Blazin Fire Sound is an extensive crew with deejays, selectors and emcees. The crew stood at the cradle of the famous Present Your Sound clashes where the Belgian top sounds competed for the title. As a sound, the team can handle just about anything. Dancehall and Reggae, of course, but also Tropical, Urban, Kuduro, Afro, Soca, Reggaeton ... During a previous edition of NAH MEAN, Blazin Fire Sound changed the warm-up into a whirlwind. One more reason to put the men in the spotlight again! • Team DAMP • A crew on the rise to higher heights. Last summer they surprised friend and enemy with a spot on the stages of world leading festival Tomorrowland, they killed it at Bomboclat Festival and left many crowds speechless on festivals throughout the country. Once the summer was over, they continued to amaze their following. Shabba Club in BLOODY LOUIS, Holy $hit party, Café Charlatan... Expect heavy hitting Dancehall in a perfect blend with Tropical club beats, Reggae Revival and a pinch of classics!
