Solo Jazz & Lindy Hop workshop w Gaby Cook!

An afternoon of dance classes with renowned NYC-based dancer Gaby Cook! 1:30 - 2:45 PM - Chorus Girls: Sisters in Rhythm 3:00 - 3:45 - Solo Jazz: Defining Vocabulary & Rhythm 3:45 - 4:30 - Solo Jazz: Routine & Flow 4:30 - 5:15 - Lindy Hop Connection Clinic: Linear Movement 5:15 - 6:00 - Lindy Hop Connection Clinic: Turning & Angular Motion $20 for Chorus Girls class (some experience recommended but not required) $25 for Solo Jazz classes (some experience recommended but not required) $25 for Lindy Hop classes (should be familiar with 6-count and 8-count patterns) $60 for entire series! Gaby Cook is a national-award winning dancer who is praised for her dynamic style and choreographic ingenuity. In her 10 years+ of professional experience, she has appeared on stages around the world, and has garnered various film and television credits. She blends the raw, athletic power of lindy hop, with the grace and refinement of the movie musical-era. She brings great care to lines, shapes and balance in her personal performance, as well as her choreographic work. In the classroom, she shares her knowledge of the dance with a cheerful disposition, and clear straight-forward instruction.
