Originalno se pleše uz Swing Jazz muziku, ali nije ograničen samo na taj žanr. Važna karakteristika Solo Jazz-a jeste improvizacija. Na redovim časovima u okviru kursa pažnju ćemo posvetiti učenju autentičnih koraka. Solo Jazz is a joyful, fun, and musical dance performed without a partner. It originated in the 1920s, and it includes Charleston and Authentic Jazz steps from that era.
