Summer Solstice - The longest day of the year The time we celebrate the Sun ☀️ We welcome you to explore your expression in its full light ☀️ through ☯ voice 💃 dance 🕺 prayer 🙏 This is a mix of Free Your Voice & Ecstatic Dance ☀️ Free Your Voice ☀️ We will open our voices with fun & experimental games. Opening our vocal range, vibrating with our emotions and connecting voice & movement together. Don't be intimidated if you are not used to show your voice too much, this will be an easy and playful practice, accessible for everyone ;) ☀️ Ecstatic Dance ☀️ Ecstatic dance is an invitation to explore freely our most exquisite movements. A space where everyone can feel safe to be spontaneous. Allowing your body to move freely without judgments or concerns for the “grace” or beauty of the dance, just getting lost in the dance into a space of no-mind. The music selection will be led by the sound alchemist Luana Schwengber ☀️ Prayer ☀️ The summer solstice is the time when our ancestors celebrated the sun's power and it's ability to sustain life on Earth. We will sit with the sacred fire (or river, depending on weather) using the powerful energies of this day to pray. It is a time we give thanks for our sovereignty, our soul light, our radiance.
