BASES DE LA CONVOCATORIA PARA EL FACILITADOR/A INVITADO/A. (English Below) El objetivo para esta edición de SOMA LAB es crear un espacio de aprendizaje grupal y de laboratorio, donde estudiar e investigar nuevas propuestas o procesos abiertos que sirvan para preguntar y preguntarnos, sobre lo que sabemos o no, en torno a la pedagogía, la práctica y la expresión del cuerpo, el movimiento y la danza contact improvisation. SOMA LAB quiere ser enlazador y creador de espacios para la conexión entre el propio SOMA LAB y otros movers, eventos y organizaciones, así como las personas que se sientan inspiradas o vinculadas a la visión de SOMA LAB. El equipo de SOMA LAB en colaboración con la Asociación Andaluza de Danza PAD y el ayuntamiento de Alanís de la Sierra, organizan la primera edición del encuentro SOMA LAB entre los días 10 y 13 de Octubre de 2019 en las instalaciones de la Casa de las Artes, el Albergue y la Ermita de San Juan en Alanis de la Sierra. CONDICIONES GENERALES DE LA CONVOCATORIA El equipo de SOMA LAB seleccionará una sola de todas las propuestas enviadas, y esta debe estar diseñada para la temática elegida para esta 1ª edición, ‘La Permanencia’. La propuesta debe tener un claro carácter de estudio e investigación (para compartir en formato de laboratorio), ya sea que ésta se presente por primera vez o ya en proceso de investigación. La organización de SOMA LAB ofrecerá una contraprestación en forma de alojamiento y comidas durante el tiempo que dura el evento y una aportación económica equivalente al trabajo realizado (consultar con la organización). Para ello la persona elegida deberá firmar un documento acreditativo donde asume los compromisos de participación en el evento. La organización también se compromete a pagar el transporte del docente elegido por un valor de: Transp. Nacional: 75€* Transp. Internacional: 135€* *La organización no se compromete a abonar la cantidad restante que supere el coste total del transporte nacional e internacional. SOLICITUDES Y PLAZO DE LA CONVOCATORIA Solo será aceptada una solicitud por persona y esta debe estar diseñada para la temática elegida para esta edición ‘La Permanencia’. La solicitud se presentará solo a través del formulario: https://forms.gle/8v4ygUqpPKJNjK876 y deberá ir acompañada de una breve Bio (10 - 15 líneas) y una carta de motivación explicando los motivos de interés en la asistencia a este laboratorio (max. 10 líneas). El plazo de recepción de propuestas comenzará a partir del día miércoles 7 de agosto y finalizará el martes día 25 de Agosto a las 23.59h. No se aceptarán más solicitudes pasada esa fecha. SELECCIÓN DE LAS PROPUESTAS Las solicitudes presentadas serán valoradas por los miembros del equipo organizador a la que se podrán unir profesionales externos. Los miembros del equipo organizador para este año son Félix Arjona (Spain), Dasha Lavrennikov (Russia/US), J.Gabriel Palacios (Perú) y Alejandro Barboza (Costa Rica). La propuestas serán valoradas en función del interés y la adecuación al objetivo, las bases y las condiciones de la convocatoria. REQUISITOS DE LAS PROPUESTAS DE FACILITADORES (1 facilitador). La propuesta seleccionada deberá cumplir con las condiciones generales de participación y debe ser presentada por una única persona física (para esta edición no se aceptarán propuestas presentadas por colectivos). Para que la propuesta sea válida los proponentes deberán rellenar todos los puntos que aparecen en el formulario de inscripción con detalle en el contenido como, denominación de la propuesta, una descripción general, una breve bio del proponente, una carta de motivación o de interés en realizar dicha propuesta, incluso aportar un material visual que sea pertinente de ser mostrado para complementar la aplicación o cualquier otra información que considere de interés para valorar la propuesta. REQUISITOS DE LOS PARTICIPANTES (Hasta un máximo de 20 participantes). Pueden aplicar y participar todas las personas que: · Quieran vivir una experiencia de investigación del cuerpo, el movimiento y la danza contact improvisation, en un ambiente de convivencia creativo, reflexivo e interdisciplinar. · Tengan experiencia en el ámbito de la creación, investigación, pedagogía o interpretación, dentro de las artes del cuerpo y el movimiento (como danza contemporánea, danza CI, teatro de interpretación, teatro físico, expresión corporal, etc), ya sea de manera profesional o no. · Rellenen el formulario de inscripción que pueden encontrar en el enlace a continuación. Formulario: https://forms.gle/u95FvYd4yuqRta8D8 Hagan la reserva de su plaza mediante el pago por transferencia del importe equivalente a 80€ al número de cuenta que aparece en el formulario, incluyendo en el concepto el ‘Nombre y 1er Apellido + SOMALAB’ antes de la fecha Lunes 30 de Septiembre de 2019. - Precio reducido: 190,00€, hasta el 30 de Agosto a las 23.59. - Precio total: 220,00€, desde el 1 al 30 de Septiembre a las 23.59. La inscripción para participar en SOMA LAB incluye: - La participación en todas las actividades que se llevan a cabo en el encuentro y que están incluidas en el programa del encuentro. - Alojamiento: en la Casa de las Artes o el Albergue de Alanís, según el orden de inscripciones. - Comida**: vegetariana, con atención a las personas que tengan algún tipo de alergia o intolerancia. Incluye desde la cena del día 10 hasta el almuerzo del día 13. * No incluye los desayunos, excepto el café, té o infusiones, pan, aceite y mantequilla que sí serán servidas por la organización. ** La cena incluirá un menú de dos platos. Uno elaborado por el cocinero del encuentro y el otro por el grupo de participantes que se encargará de cocinarlo. Un grupo diferente cada día. · Confirmen la correspondiente reserva de plaza mediante el envío de una imagen (foto o captura de pantalla) de la transferencia realizada. El resto del pago correspondiente se hará en efectivo el mismo día de llegada.* * La reserva de plaza no se confirma hasta que no se haga efectiva la transferencia. En caso de cancelación de la reserva de plaza para participar en SOMA LAB, la organización devolverá el importe íntegro de la reserva hasta el lunes 16 de Septiembre de 2019. Posterior a esta fecha, la organización sólo devolverá el equivalente al 50% del importe de la reserva. REQUISITOS PARA LOS HELPERS (2 Helpers) - Los Helpers deberán cumplir los mismos requisitos que los participantes, obteniendo un descuento equivalente a la mitad del precio total (no al precio reducido), para la participación en SOMA LAB a cambio de una serie de tareas sencillas que serán acordadas con la organización. Para ello solo tienen que rellenar el mismo formulario de participantes indicando en la carta de motivación porque quieren ser helpers en SOMA LAB. ---------------------------------------------------------------- - (Englis Version) - SOMA LAB BODY, MOVEMENT & CONTACT IMPROVISATION RESEARCH. If SOMA is the ‘body’, LAB is the space and time for research. SOMA LAB emerges from the need to create spaces where we can generate modes of learning and knowing inspired by the roots and sources of contact improvisation, including the postmodern dance movement (avant garde dance-performance-theatre scene), the beginnings of ‘movement research’, and somatic and new body therapies, amongst others. Proposing this LAB at a time when dance permeates and is affected by other contemporary movement-body based disciplines, dance oriented, pedagogical, expressive and performative. SOMA LAB is designed to implement proposals for study and exploration that activate, reflect, dialogue and exchange forms of learning, knowledge and practice. It is a state of inquiry within and between the body arts, movement, contact improvisation, and other forms of improvisation and contact practices. SOMA (body) is the field, the space, where we collect and deposit our experiences affected by the multiple, diverse possibilities we have of perceiving and transforming the body through movement. We want to discover, develop and unveil experimental materials that move in the spaces (are in transit) ‘between’ multiple and diverse somatic disciplines. In those places between or inter- (in the midst of), is where we want to place our attention and curiosity so that we can pick and choose the elements that are most "engaging" to deepen research, practice and performance creation processes. BASES OF THE CALL FOR THE INVITED FACILITATOR (1 facilitator) The objective for this edition of SOMA LAB is to create a group and laboratory learning space, where we can study and re-search new proposals and open processes that can serve us to question and ask ourselves, both about what we know and the potentials of what we do not know: in terms of pedagogy, body practices and expressions, and movement and contact improvisation. SOMA LAB wants to be a point of intersections (coalitions and alliances) and a generator of spaces for the connection between SOMA LAB itself, and other movers, events and organizations, as well as the people who feel inspired or allied (connected) with the vision of SOMA LAB. The SOMA LAB team, in collaboration with the Andalusian Dance Association PAD and the municipality of Alanís de la Sierra, are organizing the first edition of the SOMA LAB meeting from October 10 - 13, 2019 at the facilities offered by Casa de las Artes, the Hostel and the Hermitage of San Juan in Alanis de la Sierra. GENERAL CONDITIONS FOR THE OPEN CALL. The SOMA LAB team will select only one of all submitted proposals, which should be designed around the theme chosen for this 1st edition, ‘Permanency’. The proposal must have clarity in its approach to a study and research (to share in a laboratory format), whether it is presented for the first time or already in the process of prior exploration. The organization of SOMA LAB will offer a consideration in the form of accommodation and meals during the duration of the event and an economic contribution equivalent to the work performed (consult with the organization). For this, the chosen person must sign an accrediting document assuming the commitments to participate in the event. The organization also undertakes to payment of transportation for the chosen teacher-facilitator within the value of: - National Transp.: € 75 * - International Transp.: € 135 * * The SOMA Lab organization does not take responsibility for paying the remaining amount that exceeds the total cost of national and international transport. REQUESTS AND DEADLINE FOR THE CALL. Only one application will be accepted per person, and this should be designed taking into consideration the theme chosen for this edition ‘Permanency’. The application can only be submitted through the form that appears in the link below: https://forms.gle/8v4ygUqpPKJNjK876 and must be accompanied by a short Bio (10 - 15 lines) and a letter of motivation explaining why you are interested in participating in this laboratory (max. 10 lines). The deadline for the receipt of proposals will end on Tuesday, August 25 at 11:59 p.m, (opening on Wednesday, August 7). No more applications will be accepted after this date. SELECTION OF PROPOSALS. - The applications submitted will be read through and evaluated by the members of the organizing team, which external invited professionals are permitted to join. The members of the organizing team for this year are Félix Arjona (Spain), Dasha Lavrennikov (Russia / US), J. Gabriel Palacios (Peru) and Alejandro Barboza (Costa Rica). - Proposals will be evaluated based on interest and pertinence to the objectives, basis and conditions of the call. REQUIREMENTS FOR PROPOSALS OF LABORATORY FACILITATORS (1 facilitator). - The selected proposal must comply with the general conditions of participation and must be submitted by a single individual (for this edition, proposals submitted by groups will not be accepted). - In order for the proposal to be valid, the proponents must fill in all the points that appear on the registration form, in detail in the content such as: name of the proposal, a general description, a brief bio of the proponent, a letter of motivation for the proposal, and provide visual material (photo/video) that is relevant and complements the application or any other information that one considers of interest to assess the proposal. REQUIREMENTS FOR PARTICIPANTS. (Up to a maximum of 20 participants). All individuals who: · Want to live an experience facilitated by body, movement and contact improvisation research, in an environment of creative, reflective and interdisciplinary coexistence. · Have experience in the field of body and movement based creation, research, pedagogy or performance (such as contemporary dance, CI, theater, theater, corporal expression, etc.), either professionally or not. · Fill in the registration form you will find in the link below. Form: https://forms.gle/u95FvYd4yuqRta8D8 Make a reservation by paying via transfer of the amount of 80€ to the account number that appears on the form, including in the concept the 'Name and Surname + SOMALAB' before the final date of Monday, September 30, 2019. - Early Bird Price: € 190.00, until August 30 at 23.59. - Total Price: € 220.00, from September 1 to 30 at 23.59. Registration to participate in SOMA LAB includes: - Participation in all activities that are carried out in SOMA LAB and that are included in the program of the meeting. - Accommodation: at the Casa de las Artes or the Albergue de Alanís, according to the order of registration. - Food **: vegetarian, with attention to people who have some type of allergy or intolerance. Includes from dinner on day 10 to lunch on day 13. * Does not include breakfast, except coffee, tea or infusions, bread, oil and butter that will be served by the organization. ** Dinner will include a menu of 2 meals. One prepared by the chef of the meeting and the other by the group of participants who will be in charge of cooking it. A different group every day. · Confirm the corresponding reservation by sending an image (photo or screenshot) of the transfer made. The rest of the payment will be made in cash the day of arrival. * * Your reservation is not confirmed until the transfer is effective. In case of cancellation of participation in SOMA LAB, the organization will return the full amount of the reservation until Monday, September 16, 2019. After this date, the organization will only return the equivalent of 50% of the amount of the reservation. REQUIREMENTS FOR HELPERS (2 Helpers). Helpers must meet the same requirements as the participants, obtaining a discount equivalent to half of the total price (not the reduced price), for participation in SOMA LAB in exchange for a series of simple tasks that will be agreed with the organization. To do this, they just have to fill in the participant form indicating in the motivation letter why they want to be helpers in SOMA LAB.
