Soma&Play 2022 Y nos vamos a por una nueva edición de SOMA&Play del 29 de Junio al 3 de Julio! Tenéis la oportunidad de aprovechar del EARLY BIRD hasta el 10 de Junio. Después de 3 ediciones, este año arrancamos con la 4ª, con una apuesta focada hacia la 'investigación y creación a través del movimiento, el contacto y la improvisación'. Una edición para la Regeneración del tejido en danza y el intercambio cultural, desde un enfoque que transita entre lo transfronterizo y transdisciplinario, fortaleciendo los vínculos con los/as artistas, agentes y comunidades, locales e internacionales. Un año más, con la presencia y la maestría de un profesor invitado, en está ocasión será Joâo Lima (danza-teatro), y la de los co-creadores de S&P, Dasha Lavrennikov y Félix Arjona. Otro año más, siendo parte de un territorio muy único de naturaleza y potencial escénico y humano, acogido y sostenido por el espacio ESTúDIO YUCCA, y sus co-creadores Barbara Ramos y Tom Leamon. Como Colectivo SOMA&Play compartimos prácticas que nos permiten reflexionar y explorar sobre la composición como un proceso tan creativo como orgánico que ocurre dentro y fuera de nosotras, que se complementa con la descomposición, la recomposición y la capacidad de co-posicionarse y situar-se en relación al entorno. Poniendo atención y juego en lo que el entorno sugiere y revela al cuerpo. Colectivo SOMA&Play, está dedicado a la curaduría, organización y soporte de una serie de residencias artísticas, encuentros de investigación y procesos de creación continua, que impulsa la construcción de una red transfronteriza de estudio del cuerpo, la pedagogía del movimiento y las artes performativas en un contexto inter-cultural local, natural y transfronterizo. Si SOMA es el ‘cuerpo’, PLAY, es el juego, el estado y espacio-tiempo de investigación y creación. SOMA&Play nace de nuestra profunda necesidad y pasión de crear espacios y encuentros para producir formas de aprendizaje y conocimiento inspirados en prácticas y diálogos, presentes y pasados, entre danza contemporánea, site specific art, las técnicas de improvisación o composición a tiempo real, el CI y los inicios y fuentes de ‘movement research’. Se plantea este espacio de laboratorio en un momento en que la danza se mueve y es movida por otras disciplinas y acontecimientos corporales dancísticos, pedagógicas, expresivos y performativos contemporáneos. Una búsqueda en relación a las artes del cuerpo, prácticas diversas de danzas (dancemaking and remaking), y otras sistemas y lógicas de improvisación que dialogan con el contacto como un saber multi sensorial, propioceptivo y háptico. Atravesamos diversos lenguajes y temporalidades de movimiento, con la intención y el propósito de que este proyecto continúe respetando y en sintonía con la naturaleza y los ritmos vitales que se originan en estos espacios de creatividad y las subjetividades emergentes en estos encuentros colectivos. Como cocreadores de SOMA&Play, Dasha y Félix han confiado en su intuición para expandir SOMA&Play a un grupo más amplio de movers y paisajes naturales. As the SOMA&Play Collective, we share practices that allow us to reflect and explore composition as a creative and organic process that occurs inside and outside of us, which is complemented by decomposition, recomposition and the ability to co-position and situate oneself in relation to the environment. Paying attention and play in what the environment suggests and reveals to the body. SOMA&Play Collective, is dedicated to the curatorship, organization and support of a series of artistic residences, research meetings and continuous creation processes, which promotes the construction of a cross-border network for the study of the body, the pedagogy of movement and the performative arts in a local, natural and cross-border inter-cultural context. If SOMA is the 'body', PLAY is the game, the state and space-time of research and creation. SOMA&Play is born from our deep need and passion to create spaces and encounters to produce forms of learning and knowledge inspired by practices and dialogues, present and past, between contemporary dance, site specific art, improvisation techniques or composition in real time, the CI and the beginnings and sources of 'movement research'. This laboratory space is proposed at a time when dance moves and is moved by other disciplines and contemporary dance, pedagogical, expressive and performative body events. A search in relation to the arts of the body, diverse dance practices (dancemaking and remaking), and other improvisation systems and logics that dialogue with contact as a multisensory, proprioceptive and haptic knowledge. We go through different languages ​​and temporalities of movement, with the intention and purpose that this project continues respecting and in tune with nature and the vital rhythms that originate in these spaces of creativity and the emerging subjectivities in these collective encounters. As co-creators of SOMA&Play, Dasha and Félix have trusted their intuition to expand SOMA&Play to a broader group of movers and natural landscapes. We want to create an intimate space, as well as a collective one, of encounters that motivate, reflect, dialogue and exchange various forms of learning, processing and practice of somatic experiences, dance research and other modes of complementary knowledge of the arts and sciences.
