About this Event

We invite you to attend to your bodily sensation experiences. We will work on an awareness of how can we develop our embodied presence. We are going to give ourselves time to perceive our body (bones, muscles, skin, fluids -- our weight, and our general state), and through this attention let ourselves move. An embodied presence for deepening awareness to the body in motion. Do less and listen more. We are going to presence the dialogue between sensation, image and movement, where present moment awareness (or witnessing) opens us to ourselves, enabling us to know and speak of our experience, as informed by our senses. 24+25 of MAY - 10:00 to 13:00 40TL for the 2 days, 20TL for one day info and registrations: [email protected] :: facilitators :: Gabriel Greca (AR), Mariana Montepagano (AR), Keren BenAltabet (IL) Three dancers and researchers, influenced by their studies in different somatic techniques and by their experience of movement as a way to inhabit our self, to know more about us and to amplify our life experience, to heal and to feel better-different. BIOS: Mariana Montepagano I began to take movement classes when I was 3 years old. The diverse teachers and techniques lead me to question the ways of learning/teaching and how/why we do what we do. I´m interested in practices that transform the daily life, in the sensitivity of the presence, in entering to different states. I practice, train, think and investigate knowing myself always in relation to others; for me CI and improvisation techniques expand the possibilities of acting-choosing, of response, of being; to be clean of wishes for the encounter with others, to explore our divers paths and to be grateful with the processes. I keep on training to be more and more available and perceptual to changes, to be able to reach different physicality's and to break habits. I´ve graduated from Contemporary Dance Perfecting School of Teatro San Martín (Buenos Aires), I´m a classical dance teacher, student of Political Science and critical pedagogy educator. I´ve been giving dance classes for almost 10 years; I´ve worked on self managed groups, organizing festivals and traveling to some cities of Argentina, Uruguay and Brasil, Europe and Asia for performances and workshops. Gabriel Greca Osteopath, dancer, performer and human being, interested in the movement of attention and perception, how the interest its created and how creates movements and dances. Influenced mostly by the personal meeting of improvisation and osteopathy, found lots of learning in the somatic techniques, having studied b.m.c., and practiced Alexander technique, as well as feldenkrais, Pilates teacher, CI has been his main practice for more than ten years. The work in nature, and with the elements it's the biggest source of inspiration, finding the landscapes inside the body in deep relation with the outer world. He have been teaching and studying in south America, Europe and Asia, being part of festivals and residencies. Influenced by many dances and dancers, by many teachers and ideas. Keren Ben Altabet Keren is a professional dancer, “Ilan Lev“ method practitioner, a Feldenkraiz and a contact improvisation teacher, and practices vipassana meditation. Graduated from MASPA - professional dance training program in KIBUTS GAATON. (Mate Asher school of performing art) Throughout the years, she has been working with different choreographers and teachers around Israel and Europe. Keren is a movement, body, life and art researcher.
