She debuted as a professional dancer with Conjunto Artistico Integral de Montañas before moving on to dance cabaret in Matanzas and Varadero (provinces near Havana, Cuba). Delmis toured the Caribbean performing with Tierra Brava and teaching Salsa classes to tourists. She is best loved for her vibrant energy, her instant ability to connect with students and her artistry and passion for Cuban dance.
