Son Cubano with live music

Workshops are back!! Welcome to the very first FSS workshop of the spring season! Son with live music got very positive feedback last year, so now it’s time to repeat it! FSS will make you dance son. Our own maestro Antti Kupiainen will refine your technique and body movement with a short solo-choreography during the first hour of the workshop. For the second hour the same steps will be made complete with a partner. The followers will also get the best tips and tricks from the amazing multi-talented dancer Vilma Ranki. Soneros Jani Lehtioksa and Helena Kallas from the city’s most explosive son-band Bomba Buena are seasoning the flavor with rhythms and melodies playing the congas, clave, cowbell, bass and the piano. To understand the music better, during the first hour, all the instruments are being explained and danced separately and together.
