SOOP Fundraiser Special with the Happy (Bene)Feet Orchestra

Schedule: 20.30 - Lindy Hop class by Quinten & Lucia (for beginner to advanced dancers) 21.45 - first set Happy Feet Orchestra 22.40 - SURPRISE ACT 23.00 - second set Happy Feet Orchestra 23.35 - Swing Out Competition 00.15 - third set (!!) Happy Feet Orchestra 02.30 - end of party... Entrance €10 (cash only) And bring extra cash for the collection box and activities! 5% of Turnover will go to charity and all fees for competitions, clothing shop and of course donations. DJ Dolinde The first SOOP after the summer will be a very special SOOP! It will be a charity event to raise money for The National Fund against Cancer. This is an organisation that helps cancer patients in their journey to fight against cancer by involving food, exercise and mental well-being in the fight (also see link below for more info). There are many people around us that are fighting, have fought or have people in their surroundings who fight against cancer. The Jazz dance community is no different in that. The community in which we all aim at enjoying the love for dance and jazz with each other. Which is about making connections with others in body and mind. We try to help and motivate each other and be welcome to everyone. Heck, people fall in love and get married on the dance floor. So, lets have a fundraiser together and support the people that suffer or have suffered in their fight against cancer. First to encourage, support and reach out to all and second to help a bit financially in fighting this disease with research and medical support (all little bits help as we say). This SOOP Special we have some stuff for you to look forward to. The preliminary schedule in no particular order: Special performance (ooooow, you are in for a treat! But this might flop big time as well, we ar not sure... ) Swing out challenge (€5 pp, all fees go to charity) The Happy (Bene)Feet Orchestra (get them feet burning on the floor) Free Lindy Hop starter (a fun class interesting for beginning to advanced dancers) DJ Dolinde will play swinging tunes for you all Volunteering (what fundraiser is not loaded with volunteers screaming to help out) And much more..... be there or be square.
