Sophia's Moving Away 'Party'

So long Fairfield & Iowa friends! I'm moving out to Cambridge, MA by the end of the month and I want one last dance, I mean chance to say goodbye! With covid precautions this last year, it's probably been a while since I've seen you face-to-face, but I'd love a chance to say goodbye, maybe a hug, or even a dance! I'm planning this around projected rain-free warm weather, so fingers crossed it works out. On Monday evening, I'll bring a speaker and hang out in the beautiful new outdoor space next door to Ila's off the square. If that doesn't work out, I may move to the gazebo on the square. I'll post any updates here. And if the weather looks questionable, check here for updates. I plan to put a playlist on with some bachata, salsa, or whatever else is requested, but not worry too much about DJing. I'm just excited to see your faces in person! Please come by, chat, bring your dinner out for a picnic, stay a while, even dance if you want to! For those who care: I'm vaccinated (including the 2 weeks). I'll bring hand sanitizer to share. I will be wearing a mask for hugs and dances, and expect the same of those I'm with. Thanks to all of you for supporting me as I kicked off Blitz Studio here in Fairfield. I'm so grateful for the opportunity to have shared my love of dance and all that it means to me with you. It's been incredibly tough giving up in-person dance opportunities this last year throughout the pandemic. As I move forward (back) into a career in software development, I don't plan to let Blitz Studio fade completely. It carries with it a dream and a passion that aren't going away anytime soon.
