sos cecil sharp Hi SOSers Just reaching out to everyone to say that the last months have been the hardest that Team SOS has ever faced in 22 years with COVID and now the war in Ukraine amongst the myriad of issues we had in the last year. In this post: 1. Haverstock School SOS - Closed Sunday April 03 2. Cecil Sharp SOS - Opening Sunday, April 10 (ONLY DATE IN APRIL!) 3. Discount for beginners 4. Getting There - Cecil Sharp House ***Old SOS*** We heard your concerns about: - The uninviting feel - The location - The fact that it’s a school hall ***New SOS April 10*** The good news is that we are finally moving back to the Society of Folk Dance, Cecil Sharp House! In order to manage the move, we’re taking a week to organise things properly. The next date is going to be April 10th at our new brighter and nicer location! Why are we moving? For those that haven't been or have forgotten: - Sprung Wooden Floor throughout the venue - Existing bar and water fountains - Beautiful location with Camden Lock at 9 min walk. - We’re going back to the roots of SOS - The classes will start at 7pm and stop sharp at 8pm (no pun intended in sharp) - Social will go for 3 straight hours - And Finally, because we listened to you and wanted to get it right the first time *****Discount for beginners*** To all attendees: Bring a beginner with you for 50% discount for the opening! Instead of £10, they pay £5. Tickets available online and only for those attending the classes.
