SOS for Cuba Hurricane Irma appeal A big thank you to all of you who came to the Cuban Jam @ The Blues Kitchen yesterday and HUGE thanks for all your fabulous and extremely generous donations! We will start sending things off to Cuba straight away - and we'll keep you in the loop! If you couldn't make it yesterday, don't worry: Sambroso Sambroso is organising another collection for Cuba next Sunday, 24/9, at his 11 hours of Cuban Carnival, @Juju's bar! All donated items will be taken to Cuba over the next few weeks by friends visiting from here and given to people and local aid organisations we are in touch with. Useful items: batteries, medicines, vitamins, toiletries, clothes. If it's easier for you to contribute by giving some money, that's fine too. No sharp or heavy items please.
