Welcome to the South Island Salsa Competition 2016, the competition that brings togeather the best the South Island has to offer!! Donna and Warren Frost are pleased to invite all South Island Latin dancers to the 13th year of this competition to be held at the Aurora Centre at Burnside High School. Categories for 2016 are: - Youth/Adult Salsa Freestyle - Intermediate Salsa Freestyle (Under 2yr Amateur) - Advanced Salsa Freestyle (Over 2yr Amateur) - Pro-Am Salsa Freestyle (Professional and Amateur) - Open Salsa Couples (Open) - Bachata Freestyle (Amateur) - Zouk Beginner Freestyle (Amateur) - Zouk Intermediate Freestyle - Salsa Shine Teams (Open) - Latin Shine Teams (Open) - Salsa Teams (Open) - Latin Showcase Teams (Open) Entrys can be made at http://www.southislandsalsacomp.com/ - Youth Competitors - $15 per person per category (up to $75) - Adult Competitors - $20 per person per category (up to $75) Spectators tickets available through the website below: - Children (under 16 years) - $10 - Students (with valid ID) - $15 - Adults - $20 - Door sales available - $25 flat fee *Please note all online bookings carry a booking fee* After party at Salsa Latina Dance centre, 12 Bath Street - Free entry for competitors and spectators, otherwise $5 entry.
