SPARKLE WITH PRIDE: An Ecstatic Dance Pride Celebration ::
"If I can't dance, I don't want to be part of your revolution." ~Emma Goldman
Join Dance Temple Comox Valley for an ecstatic Sunday morning of Pride, dance, freedom, and unapologetic self-expression. Come dressed to SPARKLE shine, and celebrate with pride!
Rock your most dazzling sequences, rainbows, flags, fans, and fashion that embodies your authentically be-YOU-tiful expressions. This is your moment to express your queer joy and unfiltered expressions where the rhythm of the music meets the heartbeat of the community.
This is a space to celebrate our 2SLGBTQIA+ family, where every body, identity, and expression is welcome, and celebrated! Sparkle with pride is a tribute to resilience! This event is more than a dance - it’s a celebration of the courageous journeys we take to live authenticity. Every expression of joy through dance is a nod to the activists, artists, and ancestors who fought (and continue to
fight) for our right to exist unapologetically. Their courage is the foundation of our freedom, and through dance, we will honor their legacy by living, loving, and dancing boldly.
ExclamationHeART’ set is crafted with empowering intentions, weaving together queer anthems, joyful beats, and a flow to move you through gratitude, self-expression, and connection. Let the rhythm guide you as you dance for healing, for liberation, and for the unique joy that is embodied at queer gatherings.
Accessibility for all: We strive to create a space where everyone feels seen and welcome. The venue is mobility device accessible, and we’re committed to fostering an inclusive environment for all abilities. If you have special accessibility requests, please reach out.
Scent-free for a safer space: To ensure everyone can fully immerse themselves in the experience, we ask that attendees refrain from wearing strong scents or perfumes.
Pride is for everyone: Allies, friends, and chosen family are not just welcome; you’re an essential part of this celebration. Together, we create a ripple of love that transcends boundaries. Let’s sparkle together with Pride and an appreciation for unfiltered love and
expression.
