Monday is a day off. Speakeasy Electro Swing night is where the sounds and styles of the Prohibition Era are turned on their head and smuggled into the 21st century. With reworks ranging from HOUSE & ELECTRO to DUBSTEP, DRUM & BASS and HIP HOP, the genre boldly brings the sounds, spirit and fashion of the 1920s, 30s & 40s back to life with a modern dance floor edge. On the Bill: Jen Hodge All Stars - Vancouver bassist Jennifer Hodge leads this pack of talented young musicians with a passion for playing raucous, sassy jazz that’s reminiscent of the prohibition era.
