Special Edition: Learn Kizomba through Semba w Rico Suave!

Join us Tuesday, February 23rd for a special extended class and social. Yasert will be teaming up with guest instructor Rico Suave coming all the way from London. These two hour lessons make up the first session out of 4 in the Kizomba Union Stars workshop series. SESSION 1: 2hr SEMBA 8:00 - 9:00pm : Semba Beginner (Yasert & Rico Suave) 9:00 - 10:00pm : Semba Intermediate (Rico Suave) 10:00 - 11:30pm : Social with some Refreshers. He moved to Portugal in 1999 and then to London in 2011. Whilst growing up Rico was surrounded by music and dance, and his first memories are of his family dancing. Rico is nicknamed Mr Suave because of his smooth style and it is rare to see him off the dance floor at parties as he so in demand, but the gentleman that he is he always does his best to dance with as many ladies as possible, although recently it has been noted he also dances with the men as well. So guys you have been warned! Rico himself took part in this GB competition in 2012 with his dance partner Josy. This was the catalyse for the journey that he has been on ever since. In 2013 he cofounded Kizomba Suave Nights with Gemma and the craziness of bananas began. This year Rico and Josy have put together their second show, for which they have been travelling all around Europe to perform. Rico has already judged in many competitions from here in London, to Russia, Spain, Italy and even as far as Mexico. Rico can be summed up in just a few words as, energy, smoothness, smiles and of course minion.
