Special Shag Dance workshop for beginners

Join us for a special dance lesson: Allie from the UK will teach us how to Shag Dance! :) Shag is a super fun type of swing dancing that came up in the 1920s and 30s in the United States. It is danced to fast swing music. She lives in Glasgow and teaches Lindy Hop, Charleston and Collegiate Shag for two dance schools there. She also runs swing dance workshops, taster classes and choreographs performances. She loves Collegiate Shag and specialises in solo shag which is a really fun way of using the dance. We are happy that she is here to teach us Shag dancing on Wednesday.
