A first-place winner in the Escenario category at the So Cal Tango Championship, Gabriel has gone on to deepen his craft by living in Buenos Aires for the past three years. During his time in Argentina, he was a dancer in El Cxuce, the renowned tango company directed by Vanesa Villalba and Facundo Piñero. With over 20 live performances in Buenos Aires—spanning both group choreographies and solo improvisations—Gabriel has honed a style rooted in tradition yet alive with personal expression. His competitive experience includes participation in prestigious events such as the Mundial de Tango and the Buenos Aires City Championship. With a strong foundation in both performance and pedagogy, Gabriel is passionate about bringing the depth, nuance, and spirit of Tango Argentino back to the U.S., where he aims to share everything he has learned with dancers seeking a more connected and authentic tango experience.
