Trained at the National University of Arts and the University of San Martín in Buenos Aires, he is a five-time finalist in the World Tango Dance Championship in both Salón and Stage Tango categories. Almirón has performed on the stages of some of the world’s most prestigious theaters, including the New York City Center, Jazz at Lincoln Center, American Repertory Theater in Boston, the National Theatre of Panama, and the Théâtre du Châtelet in Paris. His remarkable talent has led him to perform in acclaimed productions such as Broadway’s Evita, where he also served as Tango Dance Captain. His career is further distinguished by his contributions as a choreographer for international performances.
