First of all, it's a beautiful movement! :)) There are many varieties of sakadas - “male”, “female”, at different steps, etc... Sacades involve complex, interesting interactions between dancers. (sometimes it's like hunt for legs :)) Sakadas give us the opportunity to bring a certain special dynamic to the dance. It is interesting to insert a combination of several sacadas into a dance - cascade of sacadas. And, of course, sacadas are a great example for practicing spinning techniques!
