Tango Workshop: Disassociation & Pivots SATURDAY SEPTEMBER 19, 5-6:15pm Pacific Time (75 min) In this special topics class, we will bring our focus to the topic of disassociation and pivots! In Buenos Aires I've heard it said that it takes 10 years to learn to use disassociation properly...! We will deconstruct these movements technically, explore a series of drills that you can use for your home practice, and apply this work to movements such as ochos, turns and lapices. Technique and movements for both the leader and the follower role will be explored. Focus will be on solo training (no partner necessary but you are welcome to dance together if you have a dance partner.)
