The Spirit of '45 movement holds immense significance as it symbolizes the unity, resilience, and determination that defined the American spirit during one of the most pivotal periods in history. It is a poignant reminder of the sacrifices made by the brave men and women who served in the Armed Forces and United States Merchant Marine, ensuring the victory and freedom we cherish today. The Lane Victory Maritime Center, a living tribute to the triumphs of the United States Merchant Marine, is the ideal host for this extraordinary event. With its rich heritage rooted in World War II, the Lane Victory is a floating museum that stands as a testament to the bravery and unwavering spirit of those who navigated treacherous waters to deliver vital supplies to the front lines. As a proud representative of the United States Merchant Marine, the Lane Victory Maritime Center preserves and honors the history of the Victory Fleet, highlighting the bravery and sacrifice of the Merchant Mariners who served, and continues to educate and inspire visitors with its fascinating exhibits and immersive experiences.
