Pollen Tribe Online SPRING AWAKENING New green shoots of life are emerging from the sleeping earth, and the trees are budding with promise as we approach the time of Spring Awakening… The land calls us from our winter slumber; beckoning us into aliveness and nourishment, with offerings of fresh wild garlic, and nettles, feeding our senses with bright daffodils, and primrose promises; golden sunshine wishes for the next cycle of life turning… Inspired by this natural magnificence, we have gathered the creative nectar to bring you a glimpse of something magical, to inspire your hearts, and brighten your equinox weekend.. Pollen Tribe Productions warmly welcome you to an online Equinox festival style celebration ! Over two days we will be bringing to you a selection of both live and pre recorded acoustic music, poetry, storytelling and DJ led dance journeys. This event is also a celebration of the launch of our beautiful new website !! We would like to give a special thanks to the National Lottery Community Fund, for supporting mental health and well being in the local community, and awarding us a grant to help make this online event possible. Entry is free, but any donations are very welcome! We will be sharing any funds raised between the performers and crew, and using a portion to put towards the purchase of a ‘musical meadow’ tricycle, that will play host to our newly built spiral speakers; accompanied by giant flowers, bees, bugs, dancers & carnival style antics. We’re excited about our new hand built spiral soundsystem, from our friends at Cornish based company ‘Kota Sounds’. The speakers are based upon an ancient future, prototype design, that is based upon the mathematics of the Fibonacci sequence. We can't wait to share the harmonic frequencies with you and have a dance when things open up again - these new speakers sound totally incredible! He offers Movement Medicine dance journeys which are much like an Ecstatic Dance but with the addition of simple guided facilitation and an initial practice called Awakening the Dancer which is a core part of Movement Medicine’s way of working.
