Spring Equinox Cacao Ceremony

A WARM WELCOME to our Spring Equinox Ceremony in Avalon! As the wheel turns, we travel towards the sacred of portal of Spring Equinox. We invite you to gather for a magical Ceremony with Cacao, Dance and Sacred Sound with Lila Lianna Rose and Pixi Pete Michel. This midway point of Ostara, gifts us with the potent and supportive energies of Balance and Renewal and as we emerge from the depths of winter, the land awakens and whispers these heartening messages of Rebirth. Both day and night are at equal length and usher in the qualities of harmony and expansion, opening us into fresh ways of seeing, being and visioning! As the days grow longer, the energies grow stronger and our dreams and visions are fuelled and supported by the creative and fertile energies of this time. This gathering is a wonderful opportunity to come together on these Sacred lands of Avalon and journey deep together in community. We will hold shared intention, opening to the magic and the medicine of this seasonal juncture, tuning into our prayers for the Spring and offering them into the healing portal of Equinox. We’ll drink and journey with the loving and heart opening plant medicine of Cacao. We will open to the power of our own sacred medicine voices and dance our prayers into being! WHAT TO EXPECT: ~The evening will start with an opening circle to arrive and ground, followed by a beautiful Cacao ceremony with time for intention setting and singing. 
 ~We’ll then flow into movement, using specially curated live and electronic music to facilitate play, embodied presence and deep letting go, welcoming all of ourselves to the dance floor.
 ~Lastly moving into a time of rest, being bathed in the powerful medicine of the gong, sacred sound instruments & medicine voice. 
~We will complete with a closing circle. There will be delicious homemade vegan soup and bread to share together and nourish the body before leaving. Our Ceremonial grade cacao is from South America. Ceremonial Grade means extra care is taken in the process of its creation from fermentation to stone grinding it into paste, which ensures that all the beneficial bio-active compounds in the Cacao are optimised and not destroyed for all of its health benefits).  BA6 9DU YOUR FACILITATORS: Lila Lianna Rose: Lila is a sacred medicine singer, divine feminine healer and ceremonial space holder. She’s passionate about facilitating embodied transformational spaces, working with the power of sacred sound and free movement, voice expression and sacred ceremony. Lila has been holding private and group sessions for over 14 years, in the UK and internationally. These are in the form of sacred sound concerts as one half of the renowned Mantra duo, Illumina- in such venues as ‘Alternatives’ in Piccadilly, Cecil sharp House, and the Royal Academy of Arts amongst others. She’s also held many sacred cacao ceremonies, workshops, gong/sound baths and yoga retreats all over the country and beyond. Having observed a rapid quickening of the Divine Feminine awakening in our world in recent times, Lila has moved into facilitating deep, shamanic, and embodied ceremonial spaces, working with light language, medicine voice & drum and other sacred instruments. She calls on her deep well of intuitive womb wisdom to support the expression, liberation and cultivation of our inherent magic and power. As well as expertly DJing and facilitating ecstatic dance, Peter incorporates his skills as a drummer to add live percussion to his sets; weaving beats and rhythms from a range of percussion instruments and is known for suddenly emerging onto the dance floor with his djembe to really get the crowd going wild. As for his music, Peter is well know for having his finger on the pulse for new and up and up and coming music, seamlessly blending a range of genres and or well known dance tracks, finding remixes and reworks that will pleasantly surprise the audience. Expect soul lifting melodies and deep tribal beats mixed in with some good bass sounds and a splash of nostalgia. Peter plays for festivals and events nationally and internationally and is a resident DJ for Ecstatic Dance U.K, Ecstatic Dance Bristol, Mind body Spirit Festival and Dance Medicine Glastonbury.
