About this Event
Join Rainbow Tribe with guest percussionist Curt Hannagan for a glorious afternoon of connection to nature and planting seeds for the future as we celebrate the return of spring! Men, women and children are all welcome to this event, kids under 12 free.
The Spring Equinox has long been celebrated as a time of new beginnings, balance and renewed inspiration. Embracing the idea of planting seeds of intention each guest will receive some flower seeds during our Spring Ritual which we will then all plant outside in the beautiful bushland outide the Gunyah. Together we honour one of the most celebrated festivals of our ancestors and celebrate the changing seasons of Mother Earth.
Our afternoon together includes:
- Opening Ceremony
- Cacao Ceremony with Rache Moore - A gentle guided ceremony working with a nourishing and energizing elixir of reishi mushrooms, maca, and Guatemalan Cacao, the Aztec and Mayan superfood to enhance our clarity, bliss and connection to the earth and the origins of this divine earth medicine.
- Energetic alignment working with the breath, cleansing kriya meditation with crystal bowl>
- Spring Ritual: Offering gratitude to Mother Nature by honouring the ancient origins of the Spring Equinox in both Andean Mysticism and Celtic Tradition.
- Seed Planting Moving from inside to outdoors into the bush gardens to plant our intentions for the season of fertility and abundance.
- Ecstatic Dance with DJ Andre Meyer and Curt Hannagan on drums - Getting high on life is what we are about and we guarantee you will reach a state of pure joy dancing to the global hypnotic rhythms from all over the world.

Celebrating life as we do best, our afternoon is an invitation for each of us to connect to our radiant community, make new friends and strengthen the existing bonds through ceremony, music and expressive movement. Communities have been celebrating the Spring Equinox for thousands of years with music, ceremony, flowers, feasts, fires and costumes, connecting to the earth and planting new seeds, both physical and metaphorical, for the fertile season ahead. As the earth changes, so do we, and our Cacao Ceremony will be a guided journey to set intentions and allow ourselves to trust in the shifts we’re experiencing as a collective and as individuals.
Note this month we will not be holding our regular New Moon Cacao Ceremony as Rache will be at Burning Seed. Instead we welcome you to join us at our Blue Mountains Retreat from October 5-7th, details HERE
