Spring Equinox Dance Ritual with Crescent Dance Project & DJ Seraiah

Join Crescent Dance Project for our next Wheel of the Year Embodied Ceremony: Spring Equinox! During this group online ritual and dance journey, we will be exploring the theme of balance. On this special day when everyone across the globe experiences equal day and night, we recognize balance and unity amidst duality and opposition. We seek to find centered equilibrium in our bodies, minds, and spirits in order to reconcile division and polarity, and to bring healing to our lives and the world. Join us for an embodied ceremony: part ritual, part dance. No experience required! This content is accessible to all. We will explore the themes of duality and unity in our opening ceremony and in our dance, combining Eastern and Western esoteric wisdom in practical methods you can use every day. Abigail Moon will facilitate a group ritual for the Equinox, then lead us through a short guided movement meditation to explore oppositional concepts in our bodies. You will then have a full hour for your own dance journey to explore these themes further, accompanied by a custom ecstatic dance set by DJ Seraiah. All are welcome! If you can, bring: 2 candles, one light, one dark. Or, two objects or images to represent polarity in a way that speaks to you (i.e. fire & water, sun & moon, etc.) 4 candles to light when we call in the 4 directions (or, 4 objects / images representing the 4 elements) This is a donation-based event; pay what you can!
