Spring Salsa Lessons at UMN Salsa Dance Club

The first round of salsa classes of the Salsa Dance Club at the U of M will start on Wednesday, Jan 24th, at 6:00 P.M. First class is FREE! We teach LA (Los Angeles) style salsa. Intermediate class is at 6:00 P.M. Foundations 2 at 7 P.M. Foundations 1 at 8 P.M. New salsa dancers come at 7:45 P.M. (to get checked in, Foundations 1 class starts at 8 P.M.). Wear light clothing(it will get hot) and smell great (no cologne/perfume please) Class will be held at Peik Gymnasium G55 - basement level 157 Pillsbury Dr SE, Minneapolis, MN 55455 To continue past the first free class, the fee will be $40 for non-students and $30 for U of M students. This is the membership fee for the salsa club for the whole semester. After you pay the fee, you can take all the salsa classes in this semester as long as you are qualified to take those classes. Once you complete Foundations 1, if you want, you can do Foundations 2 and repeat the Foundations 1 at no extra cost. If you are in the Intermediate class, you can repeat Foundations 2 (in addition to doing Intermediate) at no cost, as long as you pay the initial membership fee. Lessons are progressive.
